Tybee Island's Marine & Science Center offers programs for all age groups and is a wonderful way to experience nature's abundance in a coastal area. Learn about Tybee's Sea Turtle nests, the diverse eco-system that are the marshes and much more.

Additionally, "sea camps" are offered for children ages 4 - 11 during the summer months.

30 Meddin Drive

The Tybee Island Light Station is the oldest and tallest lighthouse in Georgia with a light that can be seen from 18 miles out at sea. A climb of a mere 178 steps to the top of the lighthouse provides a panoramic view of the coastal area. The Tybee Museum is also located in this area and provides insight into over 400 years of island history.

Historic Fort

Fort Pulaski is located adjacent to Tybee Island on Cockspur Island and is a National Monument managed by the National Parks Service. Guided tours by Park Rangers are available year round
